School Management Solutions is the business unit within the Belgium/Netherlands (BeNe) region that focuses on supporting educational organizations with digital learning environments, learning administration systems, apps, and advanced teaching and learning solutions. Their strong brands, including Magister, Eduarte, TIG, and ITS Learning, are widely represented in education. To facilitate their growth agenda, Sanoma Learning is strengthening the HR organization. They are hiring an HR Business Partner for the BeNe region, who will report directly to the HR Director BeNe, Daphne Nijen Twilhaar.
Vacancy: HR Business Partner School Management Solutions
Sanoma Learning is a fast-growing organization, which is why there is plenty of change. The HR Business Partner will make an essential contribution to the realization of the changes. In addition, they will deal with HR topics in the broadest sense of the word at an operational and strategic level.
The HR Business Partner for the School Management Solutions business unit will translate business plans and business needs into concrete HR plans. They will advise and coach managers and continuously challenge them to raise their own department to a higher level, in line with the organization-wide objectives. They will contribute to creating an environment where employees can continue to develop. Their guiding and advisory role encourages cooperation and increases effectiveness.
The HR Business Partner will be part of the Management Team of School Management Solutions and responsible for their own business unit. They will work in a matrix organization, where international coordination is essential. Among other things, they will focus on topics like change, performance and talent management, employee engagement, recruitment, and regulations.

Collaboration is key for the HR Business Partner. They will work closely with business and support functions across the organization. To be successful, the HR Business Partner will need to build strong relations throughout Sanoma Learning and be a true sparring partner for senior management regarding HR-related challenges. In addition, they will display a strong business mindset and adopt an appropriate balance between driving change and being empathetic towards concerns.
