Vacancy: Head of Marketing
The mission of the Head of Marketing is to drive user acquisition by designing a cutting-edge marketing strategy and to develop a highly capable team in order to target users effectively and maximize conversion. The Head of Marketing is a member of the Management Team together with the Managing Director, Head of Products, Head of Technology, Design Manager, and the Head of People & Culture. This role reports to the MD.
The organization at Impala Studios is grouped around products, meaning the various apps. For each app, the strategic product plan and the growth objectives have been defined. The Marketing Team works together with the Product Teams to tailor for each product state-of-the art marketing plans, driving UA and achieving the commercial targets. The Head of Marketing understands the app market and ignites the team to stay at the forefront of App Store Optimization tactics and delight users with well-targeted screens, icons, and a perfectly integrated user experience.

The shift from a defensive to an offensive marketing approach will be supported by a significant increase in the marketing budget. Therefore, a well-founded strategic approach is essential as well as measuring the impact of the marketing spend. The Head of Marketing is data-savvy and will take the lead in creating an integrated view of the available data platforms through Appsflyer and turn insights into strategic tools. This means gathering insights on the lifetime value of users, ratings, reviews, and the number of downloads, and basing strategic decisions on solid data analysis, thus increasing the return on advertising spend.
The actual Marketing Team consists of ten people, the Team Lead Product Marketing, three Product Marketers who report indirectly to the Head of Marketing, three ASO and UA Specialists, two Designers, and one Customer Support specialist. The Head of Marketing loves to build a high-performance team and makes sure all necessary capabilities are represented. The right candidate thrives on challenging and motivating the team, enabling them to optimize all elements of the UA journey, focusing on execution, elevating the overall team performance, and making the team fly.
