Within ING Domestic Banking NL, the CoE Architecture is expanding its team with a passionate Enterprise Architect who will strategically shape and translate ING’s vision into architecture designs and guide their strategy’s execution.

Vacancy: Enterprise Architect

The Enterprise Architect will bring a vibrant new energy, leadership, and visibility to the CoE Architecture, championing a culture of collaboration and innovation. They will play a pivotal role in maintaining a holistic view of all products and innovations, and ensure the architecture supports the development of advanced, reliable banking products and services. By translating ING’s strategy into sustainable designs and technological decisions, they will pave the way for business and IT transformation, aligning with shared standards to maximize business value and prepare the bank for its future.

The Enterprise Architect will join a collaborative team of domain architects, and foster a supportive environment that guides the structuring of work. In addition, they will partner with business colleagues, architects, feature engineers, and IT managers to craft and convey architectural outcomes, and maintain a close relationship with area leads, product owners, and engineers to influence development priorities and directions.

To succeed, this role will bring a passion for architectural design and developments in the field, and demonstrate expertise in presenting and defending strategies at the board level. With highly developed stakeholder management and communication skills, the Enterprise Architect will connect and collaborate across all levels, both locally and globally, championing a culture that values ​​diversity, work-life balance, as well as continuous growth and development opportunities.
