Job description: Senior Business Controller

The Senior Business Controller reports to the Head of FP&A and Investor Relations. Their main mission is to connect stakeholders from the business and the Group Finance team and support their decision-making with relevant financial data and analysis.

The business controlling team is made up of seven Business Controllers across all regions and commercial pillars. Eighty percent of the time, the Senior Business Controller will work with the business. They will report on major developments for one of the regions or commercial pillars. This requires gathering input from local experts to feedback of the Group Finance processes, advise on margin, monitor financial KPIs and support and challenge business cases and projects with data analysis and financial insights.

This role will actively contribute to Adyen Group Finance’s OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) and work with multidisciplinary teams to achieve the priorities set by the Group Finance team. With a data savvy mindset, and interest to build further on SQL skills, they fulfill the business’ data needs by ensuring that relevant data points are available to various stakeholders.
