Job description: Integration Manager

The Integration Manager leads the integration of newly acquired companies into CubeCold’s operational and strategic framework, planning and executing all strategic integration activities. This includes developing comprehensive integration and synergy plans for newly acquired companies and coordinating cross-functional teams to align on objectives and timelines. They also monitor progress on integration initiatives and report to senior management in a concise, convincing manner.

Process integration is an important component of this role. The Integration Manager assesses existing processes within acquired companies and identifies areas where processes are to be aligned with CubeCold standards. They also facilitate and champion the sharing of best practices, which encourages newly acquired companies and the existing organization to learn from each other.

Project and stakeholder management
This role is also responsible for integrating IT, operations, finance, and legal functions where appropriate – in close cooperation with various functions. The Integration Manager leads and oversees the integration of IT and finance systems and infrastructure, ensuring data integrity and security during this process. They align financial planning, identify opportunities for operational synergies and cost savings, and ensure compliance with local regulations and CubeCold’s corporate practices. And they foster a collaborative culture across the entire organization.

This role also has a strong stakeholder management component. Acquired companies are family businesses across multiple countries, each with their own organizational history, culture, teams, and ways of working. The Integration Manager swiftly builds a network across these companies, establishing themselves as a credible sparring partner with the cultural sensitivity to maneuver challenging situations and the expertise to steer integration in the right direction.

The Integration Manager reports to the Head of M&A and plays a key role in realizing the growth ambitions of the international organization. They work from Rotterdam but also travel frequently to the different locations – especially in the beginning, when building rapport with the different businesses and their management teams is key. This role is pivotal in ensuring newly acquired entities are swiftly and efficiently brought up to CubeCold’s standards, to maximize synergies across a leading European brand.
