Their new HR Business Partner will work closely with business leadership and enable Amsterdam-based Vistra to continue its growth. They will focus on the full range of operational and strategic HR areas, and take Vistra’s HR practices to the next level.

Vacancy: HR Business Partner

The HR Business Partner will be a trusted sparring partner to business leadership. They will provide advice and support on all HR-related topics, from team development, compensation and benefits to recruitment. They will contribute to Vistra’s overall change agenda, translate high-level strategy into HR plans and policies, and lead the implementation of strategic HR projects. One of the first topics the HR Business Partner will focus on is strengthening the leadership capabilities across the organization through learning and development, leadership training and talent management.

Backed by Baring Private Equity Asia – one of the largest Private Equity firms in Asia – Vistra has shown remarkable growth over the past few years. The HR Business Partner, together with their colleagues, will optimize the HR practices for the Amsterdam office’s current size and prepare the organization for its next growth phase. This requires someone who understands how to add value to a commercial organization. They will work closely with the business (e.g., financial and legal professionals) and will be a strong partner in all challenges that touch on HR practices.

The HR Business Partner will become part of a fairly small team of about four FTEs led by Jorien Kok, Head of HR for The Netherlands, to whom they will be reporting. This means the HR Business Partner will get to enjoy the operational, day-to-day responsibilities as well as the big picture, strategic challenges that will require interaction with senior leadership.

As an experienced HR professional, the HR Business Partner will have the freedom and responsibility to work independently, build close relationships throughout the organization and work on HR topics in the broadest sense of the word. They will be performing their role as part of a dynamic and growing company with a strong people-oriented culture.
