Vacancy: Finance Manager – EMEA
The Finance Manager of EMEA joins the commercial team of around fifteen people in Amsterdam. Using strategic and critical thinking, they will interpret the financial accounts and identify ways to grow and improve the P&L. By understanding the numbers, the Finance Manager can effectively advise or challenge the business and enable data-driven decision-making. This role also identifies opportunities within the finance domain itself, from tax, forex management, accounting and payroll to tariffs.
The Finance Manager also develops policies and guidelines for financial management, and ensures their implementation for all operations, including the accounting and tax reconciliation accuracy to fulfil the countries’ laws. In addition, this position guarantees the financial budget and forecast, and sets the standards to ensure information is accurate and meets deadlines. To achieve this, the Finance Manager will develop and implement the annual financial planning process to monitor decision-making and results.
The role of Financial Manager is autonomous yet connected with international teams, the back-office in Manila, and the head-office in Seattle. This role reports to the President of Stanley EMEA and South America, who is based in Brazil. People skills and the ability to quickly establish trust with stakeholders are crucial in this role. The Finance Manager will have one direct report in Manila.
