Vacancy: EMEA Marketing Manager
The Mustad EMEA Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing its multi-region, scalable, automated marketing strategy. This boils down to managing traditional marketing as well as the complete digitization of the sales and marketing of a highly successful global company in a very traditional industry. Although the digital opportunity is greenfield and has the feel of a start-up, the traditional business is highly successful, and thus, capital is available. The role reports directly to the Global Sales, Marketing, and Innovation Director.
Within this context, the EMEA Marketing Manager has a strategic and operational attitude. On the one hand, they are smart and understand the dynamics of the hoof care industry; on the other hand, they roll up their sleeves to execute a campaign or experiment. This requires thorough knowledge of traditional channels and website analytics tools, ad serving tools, Google Adwords, and some understanding of web development languages and constraints. In every country where Mustad operates, a salesperson, a marketing manager, and a digital marketeer are available to support the EMEA Marketing Manager when needed. This means the role involves cooperation with people from different cultures from around the world and the need to unite everyone around one future-proof digital framework.
“Digital marketing at Mustad is a greenfield opportunity within a globally leading company, hence a chance to truly leave your mark!” – Juan-Carlos Agudelo
Since the company is newly embarking on the digital journey, the EMEA Marketing Manager has the space to carve out their own career path. The organization’s culture allows for a path that builds on each person’s individual strengths, assuming an eager attitude to maximize one’s own potential. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned marketing expert to teach and transform a traditional, highly successful company into a strong digital player and truly impact its organization and global business success.
