Bitvavo is now expanding its vision on the horizon to claim a number one position in Europe. Working at the top of the funnel, the Brand Marketing team has as a main objective to position the brand throughout Europe and integrate all touchpoints to drive brand awareness and user preference.

Vacancy: Brand Development Manager

The Brand Development Manager will be responsible for the international brand strategy, brand development and creating state-of-the-art brand campaigns for the full marketing mix. A perfect balance is needed to produce marketing magic by bridging creativity and inspiration with logic, data and technology skills. This well-rounded expertise is essential to make this role, and its goal, a success.

The Brand Development Manager will need to translate business strategy and consumer insights into an inspiring and clear brand positioning strategy and brand guidelines. Their strategy needs to define how the aspirations of the Bitvavo brand will live in the hearts and minds of customers, define the brand’s purpose, identity, positioning, target segments and brand benefits and brand promise.

Using the brand positioning strategy as their guiding principle, the Brand Development Manager works with a wide variety of top-notch agencies on campaign development, brand activation, sponsoring, social media and PR. This is when the creative meets logic; in the development of campaigns that give the Bitvavo brand a touch of magic and mystique while underpinning the logic and reliability. When launching campaigns, the Brand Development Manager ensures consistency throughout every facet of the company and through the full marketing mix, and works closely with the brand, product and affiliation teams.

Next to the strategic and creative scope of this role, the Brand Development Manager will be the key interface for the European markets when it comes to brand development. They need to make sure local brand development follows the central brand and campaign guidelines, but also gather local customer insights to facilitate the markets by tailoring campaigns to their local needs. They also need to oversee the key European marketing metrics and develop or adapt campaigns accordingly to maximize awareness and user preference.
