Bitvavo maintains a strong focus on their product. Even with limited marketing investments, their user base has grown, thanks to their reliable and trusted product and highly functional, entertaining app. Bitvavo is now expanding its vision on the horizon to claim a number one position in Europe. Working at the top of the funnel, the Brand Marketing team’s main objective is to position the brand throughout Europe and integrate all touchpoints to drive brand awareness and user preference.
Vacancy: Brand Activation Manager
Bitvavo’s ambitious aim is to become Europe’s largest digital asset exchange platform. This involves expanding the Brand Marketing team and is the reason why the Brand Activation Manager plays such a vital role. Their main objective is to build a unique brand activation strategy to maximize awareness and preference of Bitvavo in The Netherlands.
This will create a strong impact on the market and activate users across all relevant touchpoints. These include all online media platforms, traditional media such as TV, radio and away from home, such as events and, very importantly, the KNVB partnership.

The Brand Activation Manager will be responsible for maximizing its impact on the market by aligning all touchpoints and tailoring content towards existing and new target groups” – Marcel Ribbens, Head of Brand and Communication.
In this role, the Brand Activation Manager will own the goal to deliver a consistent, cross-channel brand experience. partnering with colleagues from the central brand and product teams will be essential to guarantee consistency and align messages at every step of the customer journey. Working at the top of the funnel, the Brand Activation Manager will also continuously coordinate and liaise with colleagues from the performance and affiliate teams to help increase user acquisition.
In addition to working closely with internal partners, the Brand Activation Manager will also coordinate with media and creative agencies, evaluate content and creatives and analyze performance of various branding tools and media. This will allow the role to respond quickly if needed, to optimize and improve awareness and user preference results.
