Global Consulting Team
The Global Consultants advise senior leadership on complex strategic business challenges. They formulate strategies and their execution plans, craft value propositions, outline target operating models, and more. Overseen by the Head of Global Consulting, Cecile Crobach, this team is part of ING’s Global Change and Transformation organization. This NL-based department also includes Change Execution and Process Management expertise. Recently restructured, their team of thirty consultants is organized under three expert leads. Together, their specialized expertise forms a key bridge between strategy and execution.
Vacancy: Senior Consultant – Global Change & Transformation
The Senior Consultant of Global Change and Transformation will be at the forefront of ING’s most important initiatives, tackling the bank’s most pressing challenges and driving impactful, transformative change. In this dynamic role, they will develop strategic solutions that enhance operational efficiency, foster alignment across global teams, and pave the way for ING’s continued success in an evolving financial landscape.
The Senior Consultant will report directly to one of the Global Consulting Team’s three expert leads, work closely with senior leadership, and collaborate with other internal and external consultants, and co-create with business stakeholders. As a results-driven team player, they thrive in dynamic environments, easily building relationships with a wide range of senior stakeholders. They also play a key role in shaping the consulting community within ING to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
The Senior Consultant will tackle complex business problems with a sharp eye for both detail and the bigger picture. To succeed, they are a problem-solver who thrives in navigating complexity and ambiguity. A persuasive communicator with a strong sense of organizational sensitivity, the Senior Consultant quickly identifies the underlying issues and opportunities within ING and uses a hands-on approach to influence and align teams across the bank. A curious self-starter, they take ownership of challenges, think creatively, and make decisions grounded in data and insights, driving impactful change at every turn.
