Every year, Kramp continues to achieve strong growth. The company currently has eleven distribution centers, twenty-four sales offices, more than 3,500 employees and over one billion euros in revenue. As a leading player in its niche market, and supported by investor NPM Capital, Kramp is perfectly positioned to continue achieving its significant growth vision. And strategic acquisitions are a crucial part of its expansion strategy. Through Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), the wholesaler wants to expand its footprint into eastern and southern Europe while breaking into new adjacent markets, such as construction and landscaping.
Vacancy: Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Manager
The M&A Manager will be responsible for all of Kramp’s M&A activities and play a pivotal role to successfully realize the company’s organic growth strategy. They will lead the entire M&A process, from identifying and evaluating potential targets to the actual transaction and post-merger integration. The M&A Manager will independently work on deals, supported by and reporting to the Corporate Development Director. They will enjoy the freedom to alternate their work location between Kramp’s headquarters in Varsseveld, the Kramp Hub in Utrecht and remote working.

To identify and evaluate potential targets, the M&A Manager will monitor markets and analyze candidates to determine their strategic fit, valuation and financial and commercial track record, for example. In the identification phase, they will work closely with the Commercial Directors at Kramp’s country organizations, who know their local markets and can initiate first contact. Once a potential target shows promise, the M&A Manager will lead the pre-merger planning, which includes preparing documentation, meeting with the target company’s leadership team and creating the business case.
The M&A Manager will also oversee the actual transaction process. They will develop proposals, lead negotiations, conduct due diligence, manage all internal and external parties involved like lawyers, accountants, and external financial consultants and prepare deal-closing by Kramp’s CEO and CFO. When a deal is successful, the M&A Manager will spearhead the post-merger integration, from strategy, structure, people and culture, and work closely with an experienced team.
The M&A Manager will work with, various colleagues from Commercial Directors in other countries, the Corporate Development Director to the Corporate Strategy Team. They will also update and facilitate decision-making of the Executive Board. Overall, Kramp’s M&A Manager role will be a challenging and exciting position with extensive exposure and potential to enhance the company’s continued growth strategy.
