Now the company is going through its largest IT transformation. The B2B Product Lead is responsible for building the company’s online B2B channels. Along with initiating its transformation and new Fenix Outdoor attitude towards the role of IT, the company has implemented product areas, created Product Owner and Business Analyst roles and adopted a more agile ‘Fenix’ way-of-working.
To support its ongoing growth strategy, Fenix plans to optimize supply chain planning and make the B2B ordering process easier with a new B2B sales platform under development.
Vacancy: B2B Product Lead
The B2B Product Lead will translate the product vision to the B2B product team and build a B2B online channel. The Brands division, which includes B2B, sells the Fenix Outdoor brands to owned and partner stores. This role’s key objective is to build a digital platform and migrate the current B2B sales activities to the online channel. The order data and customer insights that can be captured with the platform will have great impact on supply chain planning, business operations and account management.
To achieve this goal, two product owners and their teams, as well as a business analyst, will have the leadership and support of the B2B Product Lead. The Lead is also focused on removing roadblocks and supporting the product owners by determining product priorities to build the B2B online channel. This involves developing relationships with different parts of the organization, supporting and steering sales teams, aligning interdependencies between commerce and tech and enabling everyone to be successful in the new, customer-focused, Fenix way-of- working. And last but not least, as this platform will become part of larger IT transformation and will be open for key investments, strong financial storytelling and influencing skills are a big plus. The position of B2B Product Lead can be based in The Netherlands or Sweden, with a hybrid working and includes about 25% travel.
