Vacancy: Director of Architecture
The Director of Architecture will lead Kramp’s critical transformation in enterprise architecture, a key role that will drive innovation, standardization, and scalability. This senior leader will shape the company’s technological framework, driving modernization and professionalization efforts and ensuring alignment with long-term business goals.
An important member of the Tech Leadership Team, the Director will directly report to the Chief Technology Officer and lead a team of 20 professionals, including enterprise, solution, and technology domain architects, as well as business analysts and practice leads in engineering, e-commerce and FinOps. They will oversee strategic planning, resource management, and policy development, ensuring that the architecture supports scalable, integrated, and secure systems across various business and technology domains. An excellent communicator, the candidate will work closely with senior executives and board-level stakeholders, skillfully navigating diverse priorities to build consensus and align Kramp’s architecture vision with corporate goals to drive ongoing standardization and innovation.
Kramp has a pressing technical debt and an urgent need for modernization. The Director will swiftly establish a strategic architecture roadmap to address these challenges head-on. Driving organizational change and reinforcing architectural policies, they will be instrumental in building a resilient, future-focused architecture. The candidate will take charge of evaluating systems, implementing sustainable solutions, and enforcing best practices to secure the organization’s
technological future. Taking a pragmatic and entrepreneurial approach, they will renegotiate key technology investments, ensuring they align with strategic goals and deliver maximum impact. The Director’s leadership throughout this transformation will be pivotal to balancing Kramp’s entrepreneurial spirit with its immediate need for technological stability and innovation.
