About this vacancy
The Business Developer powers the developments by identifying, developing, negotiating and closing innovative business opportunities. The goal is to further build Anthony Veder’s market position. How? By closing commercial deals on dedicated and newly to be built gas carriers. The Business Developer gathers and analyses information about the target markets, potential customers and opportunities of interest. This information provides opportunities for potential business projects, which the Business Developer initiates, executes and completes. After the contract is signed the Business Developer is responsible – together with the technical professionals – for the delivery of the gas carrier. To stay up-to-date the Business Developer attends seminars worldwide.
The team
The Business and Fleet Development team consists of eight professionals: a Naval Architect, Process Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Project Manager and four Business Developers. The Business Developers report to Björn van de Weerdhof (Manager Business and Fleet Development). He started his career as Business Developer at Anthony Veder.
Profile
The Business Developer has at least three years’ experience. Experience with commercial and strategic exposure in the oil & gas or maritime sector is a plus. The Business Developer is creative, innovative, communicative and enthusiastic for long-term development projects. The ideal candidate has a Masters degree, preferably in engineering. English comes natural. This position requires an international mindset and willingness to travel.
