The Consultant will contribute to high-quality analyses, gaining early exposure to complex transactions and playing an active role in shaping a growing practice.

About Svalner Atlas Advisors

Recognized as the leading independent advisory group in Northern Europe, Svalner Atlas Advisors was created in 2024 through the merger of the Dutch firm Atlas and the Swedish firm Svalner. Combining the dynamism of a scale-up with the reliability of an established firm, the organization was founded by experienced professionals from Big Four backgrounds who sought to offer an alternative advisory model. The firm partners with ambitious companies, funds, and entrepreneurs to provide solutions that are both sophisticated and practical. Vacancy: Consultant Financial Due Diligence

To enhance its transaction services and serve growing client demand, Svalner Atlas Advisors is introducing its Financial Due Diligence (FDD) practice in the Netherlands. The ambition is to scale the practice to between fifteen and twenty professionals within two years, delivering consistent recurring revenue, and establishing Atlas as the leading independent alternative to the Dutch private equity mid-market. This key role in the newly formed FDD team in the Netherlands involves supporting projects end-to-end, collaborating with the Partner, Director, and Manager, and owning analyses that underpin due diligence assignments while contributing to reporting and client delivery.

Typical assignments include dissecting historical performance, analyzing working capital dynamics, preparing equity bridges and identifying risks and opportunities in financial statements. The Consultant has an eye for detail, unlocking data, performing financial modeling, and drafting parts of reports, while receiving guidance and feedback from senior colleagues. This role offers an accelerated learning curve with early exposure to complex transactions and direct client interactions.

The ideal candidate has strong technical skills in financial analysis, modeling and report writing, as well as a genuine interest in understanding how businesses create value. Hands-on, pragmatic, collaborative, and eager to learn, they are motivated by ownership and visibility. With a growth mindset and ambition, the Consultant will quickly develop the skills needed to progress into a Manager role.

“This is a rare opportunity to join a professional services boutique in the heart of Amsterdam while accelerating your career through direct access to the professional experience of partners and clients.” – Michiel Koopmanschap, FDD Partner

At Svalner Atlas Advisors, every contribution counts. Initiative is rewarded with ownership and accelerated progression. Based in the heart of Amsterdam, this role offers ambitious individuals the chance to gain broad exposure and contribute to a dynamic new team. This role is perfect for an early-career finance professional with a genuine interest in financial due diligence who is eager to learn, take on responsibility quickly, and thrive in a fast-growing boutique environment.
