Vacancy:Consultant Financial Due Diligence
Svalner Atlas Advisors is launching its Financial Due Diligence (FDD) practice in the Netherlands to meet growing client demand and expand its transaction services offering. The ambition is to scale the practice to between fifteen and twenty professionals within two years, delivering consistent recurring revenue, and establishing Atlas as the leading independent alternative to the Dutch private equity mid-market.
The Consultant will be an important member of the newly formed FDD team in the Netherlands, supporting projects from start to finish while working closely with the Partner, Director, and Manager. They will take responsibility for analyses that form the foundation of due diligence assignments, contributing to reporting and client delivery.
Typical assignments include dissecting historical performance, analyzing working capital dynamics, preparing equity bridges and identifying risks and opportunities in financial statements. The Consultant has an eye for detail, unlocking data, performing financial modelling, and drafting parts of reports, while receiving guidance and feedback from senior colleagues. This role offers an accelerated learning curve with early exposure to complex transactions and direct client interactions.
The ideal candidate has strong technical skills in financial analysis, modelling and report writing, as well as a genuine interest in understanding how businesses create value. Hands-on, pragmatic, collaborative, and eager to learn, they are motivated by ownership and visibility. With a growth mindset and ambition, the Consultant will quickly develop the skills needed to progress into a Manager role.
