For whom?

The Market Insights Manager has a major impact on the company, which is constantly evolving as a result of new technologies and digital transformations.

Vacancy: Market Insights Manager

The Market Insights Manager has direct influence on Signify’s strategy and works closely with the senior leadership team. He/she is part of the Strategy, Alliances & Market Insights team (22fte) led by Stephen Rouatt in Amsterdam. Niels de Zwart manages the Market Insights team and key insights are shared with the Leadership team on the basis of relevant data and market information.

The projects of the Market Insights Manager consist of analyzing the market on the basis of internal and external data in order to find out exactly what is going on in the market, where there are opportunities for growth and in which markets Signify is not yet active. These insights are processed into a market size forecast. The Market Insights Manager makes these analyses both individually and as part of a team. In addition, the Market Insights Manager is also actively involved in strategy related projects, for example defining and developing a business case for the strategy of one of the business units. He/she explores the market and the competition and assesses which information is important for Signify to take strategic action.

At the same time, the Market Insights Manager works on new projects and takes, for instance, a deep dive in existing markets. A market is not growing as fast as expected? The Market Insights Manager investigates why this is the case and shares these results with the senior Leadership.

The Market Insights Manager is not only highly analytical but also has an eye for the world behind data. He/she keeps a sharp eye on what is happening worldwide and in which ways the current market influences the developments within Signify. He/she defends and presents these insights and data convincingly to the company. The Market Insights Manager will frequently visit countries where Signify operates, keeping up-to-date on developments in those countries and building relationships with the local teams there.

The position of Market Insights Manager is dynamic and visible within Signify, working together with an excellent and ‘fun’ international team.
