Vacancy: Head of HR
The Head of HR will define the presence and future of HR for this fast-growing FinTech business at a global level. Responsibilities range from thought leadership and organizational development to driving change in the operation. Overseeing more than 300 employees at the Amsterdam office, the Head of HR will report directly to the Global Head of HR & Recruitment Mirjam de Meij (ex-McKinsey and BCG) and manage three HR Business Partners, two HR Generalists and a Facility Manager directly.

The Head of HR will develop policies, programs, processes and metrics that support the organization’s business goals. Areas include organizational design, leadership development, performance management, rewards and HR automation. New projects and programs always start with a hunch – staying up to date with HR innovations and laws, partnering with the different teams and their leaders, organisational sensitivity and business acumen are key. The Head of HR will research the possibilities, create business cases, present them to the business, and play an active role in their execution and follow up. The Head of HR is a driving force in establishing goals, defining the roadmap, influencing stakeholders, providing guidance and direction to the team and assuring consistent application across the organization.
Candidate Profile
- Master degree or equivalent
- Preferably consulting background with focus on HR projects
- At least 7 years’ experience collaborating with employees and leaders
- Leadership, people management and project management in a high-paced environment
- Change management and organizational transitions
- Building relationships, conflict management, problem solving
- Working cross-culturally with diverse business partners
- Proactive influencer
- Strategic and results-focused sparring partner for the business
- Fluent in English, proficiency in Dutch is an advantage
