Vacancy: Director of Strategy and Transformation

The Director of Strategy and Transformation will report to the Chief Transformation Officer (CTO) and drive Mediq’s transformation strategy with regional Transformation Directors. They will lead high-value strategic programs that create long-term value and oversee the company’s entire transformation agenda with the CTO.

The Director of Strategy and Transformation will shape the content and lead the process in a high-paced environment. This includes ongoing support from the Executive Committee and the private equity owners. They will focus on Mediq’s full scope, including all regions, clusters, and functions.

This role will lead programs across the organization. Initially, they will focus on commercial excellence, pricing, customer service, and post-merger integration. Any program defined as a high strategic priority falls under this role’s scope. Through these programs, they will develop an organization that leverages its international scale and expertise to maximize performance in local markets. In addition, the Director of Strategy and Transformation will coordinate the annual strategy process, support budgeting, and provide updates to the Supervisory Board.

The Director of Strategy and Transformation will collaborate with the entire senior leadership team. They will facilitate discussions in the Executive Committee and work with management teams of the countries, regions, and functions to design and implement programs. Each one will have an assigned sponsor in the Executive Committee that the Director of Strategy and Transformation will interact with to successfully deliver the goals and milestones. For some projects, they will coordinate and lead the efforts of external consultants.
