The vacancy: Data & Automation Engineering Lead

HelloFresh is looking for a Data & Automation Engineering Lead that optimizes, scales and accelerates workflows throughout the Benelux organization. As a result, more efficiency can be achieved in many areas by making the business processes smarter and by automation. Data engineering and data science play a crucial role in this, as data-driven working is in the veins of this organization. The impact of this role therefore lies on both data engineering and process and workflow optimization in the business.

The Data & Automation Engineering Lead falls within the Operational Excellence team and reports to Mark Sugirtharajah, Team Lead Operational Excellence. This young and driven team of 5 people focuses on data, BI and market research and is part of Business Development & BI. Within this team, the Data & Automation Lead takes care of the engineering part and manages two (junior) data engineers. The Data & Automation Lead owns the architecture, design, development, implementation and operation of the workflows and tools. This team works on a very diverse portfolio of projects for the entire organization. Good project management skills are therefore of great importance.
