Vacancy: Team Lead IT Development

The Team Lead IT Development leads three agile IT teams, each consisting of eight talented developers and QA engineers. As Budget Thuis pursues ambitious growth, IT plays a central role in achieving these objectives. This makes the Team Lead role essential for enhancing team output, fostering individual success, and supporting each team member’s professional development. Actively modeling agile leadership, the Team Lead promotes new ways of working that align with company values, ensuring a transparent, collaborative, and secure environment.

Acting as a key sparring partner and facilitator between IT and business functions, the Team Lead is essential for bridging departments and aligning goals across functions – closely collaborating with the team’s Tech Lead to achieve this alignment. By creating an environment that supports agile practices, they strengthen cross-functional collaboration and empower team members to take ownership within these frameworks. The Team Lead’s leadership style combines empathetic communication with strategic insights, supporting each team’s transformation into more agile, resilient units. They also identify any skill or knowledge gaps within the team and promote continuous learning to ensure long-term competency.

As a member of the IT Management Team, the Team Lead stays informed of relevant industry trends, identifying opportunities to apply these insights in ways that support Budget Thuis’ objectives and foster the growth and development of team members. With a solid understanding of the company’s products and the market, the Team Lead leverages this knowledge to drive practical innovations and inform sound decision-making processes.

The Team Lead manages all HR aspects, including evaluations, recruitment, and absence management, supporting the growth and motivation of their team. Additionally, they organize learning days and training sessions, ensuring that each team member is equipped with the skills needed to contribute to Budget Thuis’ evolving goals.
