The perfect shorts, that’s what MR MARVIS is all about. In recent years, they have expanded their shorts collection with Swims, Sports, Juniors, and most recently The Longs. Geographically, they’re expanding too. In short, this is an opportunity to join a fast growing direct-to-consumer fashion scale-up.
MR MARVIS
The secret of MR Marvis’ iconic shorts is the fit. Perfect from the get-go, all of their shorts have the same fit. They’re expanding their collection – new colors and prints to suit every occasion, chinos to bring the MR MARVIS feel to their fans throughout the year, juniors because style has no age – but they’ll always stay true to their fit. Their full collection is designed in Amsterdam and handmade by artisans in Portugal, using locally sourced materials.
“Although you’d expect the perfect shorts to arise from the Mediterranean or a tropical archipelago, they just didn’t. Because no one else did, we created the finest shorts out there ourselves.” – Steven Vrendenbarg, David Sipkens, and Aafke Tuin, Founders of MR MARVIS
From their vibrant office space in the heart of Amsterdam, MR MARVIS was launched in 2016 in The Netherlands, where they soon became the number one shorts brand. They are currently growing at a similar pace in a number of European markets and already planning for world domination. As a direct-to-consumer brand, they combine a strong e-commerce platform with a flagship store strategy. Their first flagship store is based in Amsterdam. Other European capitals will soon follow soon.
Vacancy: Supply Chain Manager
The Supply Chain Manager is a new role, created to help this ambitious menswear brand realize its potential.
Due to the growing volumes, expanding product portfolio, international expansion, and flagship store strategy, the supply chain is complexifying rapidly.
Together with the Head of Production, the Supply Chain Manager will manage and continuously improve the full supply chain.
The scope of this role will range from inventory management, demand planning, and the implementation of a new ERP system to logistics, process design and implementation, and monthly reports. As the business grows, the Supply Chain Manager will also have the opportunity to expand the team further. The Supply Chain Manager reports to David Sipkens and has a seat at the table when it comes to annual production plans.
“The long and the short of it is that you will ‘own’ our complete supply chain: from ordering the fabrics, buttons, and labels to last-mile deliveries and retail replenishment.” – David Sipkens, Co-Founder of MR MARVIS
MR MARVIS works with Top of Minds to fill this vacancy.
