Vacancy: International Finance Director
The company and therefore the role of Finance Director has grown significantly over the past years, which has led to a large span of control. Therefore the company has decided to split the role creating a sustainable structure to accommodate future growth and to strengthen its finance department in general. The current Finance Director will fill the position of Group Finance Director and the company is looking for an International Finance Director.
The International Finance Director leads the international Finance organization across all Kramp’s geographies in Europe. He/she has 10 direct reports, which are local Finance & Control Managers, who each manage a team of 2 to 20 people. In total, the Finance Director is responsible for around 80 employees. He/she reports to Hans Scholten, CFO.

Leading the international finance organization
People management and leadership are important capabilities that the International Finance Director has in store. He/she does not just simply manage the local finance organizations but actively builds high performing teams. The International Finance Director helps the local Finance & Control Managers for example to develop more action-oriented steering information and proactively challenge local leadership.
The International Finance Director also leads large cross-country programs and supports the most important local projects, like cost control initiatives and acquisitions. He/she is heavily involved in the integration of a newly acquired company in terms of integrating the finance organization and setting up the joint reporting structure and is responsible for internal control and financial compliance.
Besides his/her intense collaboration with the local Finance teams, the International Finance Director also works closely with Kramp’s Group Finance Director, on topics and projects that transcend their individual scope. The Group Finance Director leads the team of international business controllers and all other HQ finance employees. Furthermore, they are responsible for Treasury and managing large international projects such as the implementation of a new finance ERP.

- Finance professional with 12+ years of experience
- Understanding of wholesale, e-commerce and logistics
- Experience with leading international teams across multiple locations
- University degree, additional RC degree is a plus
- Background in Private Equity is a plus
Skills
- Has cultural sensitivity and awareness of local needs from both business and relationship perspective
- Great analytical skills, problem-solving and the ability to drive change in an agile environment
- Excellent written & spoken English; multiple languages preferred
