At eBay, Roeland Loof grew from Commercial Strategy Manager for Marktplaats.nl to Head of Business Performance in the European headquarters in Switzerland. In addition to the Business Performance Team (5 FTE), he will soon become Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A); two teams that will collaborate closely under Loof. Business Performance advises Senior Management based on insights from financial analysis. The FP&A team is responsible for all the planning and analysis processes, consolidation of country data, forecasts and a smooth running budget processes. Together they work to professionalize and optimize all the financial processes. The ambition for the next twelve months is for the FP&A team to take an increasingly strategic role within eBay Europe. eBay had a vacancy for a mature, strategic and hands-on Financial Analyst within the FP&A team at the European headquarters in Switzerland.

Vacancy for a Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst knows how things run at eBay in Europe. They can explain all the financial results and know exactly what needs to be done to improve these results. The Financial Analyst does not keep that knowledge to themselves, but offers a helping hand to financials and non-financials in eBay Europe with regards to budget control, P&L and headcount management, among others.

The Financial Analyst is well-versed in the subject and makes complex financial processes comprehensible for everyone – from the HR Director to a Regional Sales Manager. Ideally both financials and non-financials go to the Financial Analyst for advice.
