EyeCare Group was formed in October 2021 as eight premium optical companies merged. Separately, they are each known for their personal care, high quality and high-fashion frames. Together, they have almost 100 eyewear shops in A-locations throughout the Netherlands. This makes this ‘new’ player in the high-end eyewear market an immediate market leader in its segment.

EyeCare Group’s shops improve their customers’ vision and eye health with leading services and customised products. They employ almost exclusively qualified opticians, optometrists and audiologists who offer only products from the very best suppliers; in addition to glasses, contact lenses and hearing support solutions. In doing so, the shops use the latest techniques and are innovative in their propositions. Subscription models for glasses are one example.

Through the cooperation, EyeCare Group is uniquely positioned to further professionalise its brands, capitalise on data and digitalisation, and make the most of growth opportunities in the market. Backed by PE investor EMK Capital, the company aims to scale up to two hundred retail locations in the Netherlands through a buy&build strategy.
