Vacancy: Senior Director Global Supply Chain Planning
The Senior Director will develop the strategy for Marchon’s global supply chain and demand and then lead its execution. They will ensure the design, development, and implementation of processes and systems to optimize revenue, profitability, and growth by maximizing service levels and minimizing inventory and obsolescence. This role will report to the SVP of Global Logistics and Supply Chain and lead a department of about thirty people.

Operational excellence is one of the main themes for the Senior Director Global Supply Chain Planning. They will focus on continuous improvement through all supply chain-related processes, including:
- increasing strategic demand planning accuracy,
- maximizing alignment of supply and inventory across all warehouses using advanced IT systems,
- ensuring Marchon’s supply chain has the flexibility to respond to market trends,
- and optimizing order-to-delivery times to drive customer satisfaction.
The Senior Director will work closely with peers throughout the organization. They will need to convince, influence, and collaborate effectively with Sales, Brand Management, Manufacturing, Product Development, and Finance teams. Along with their counterparts, this role will align production and supply with sales forecasts and adjust collection sizes, renewal rates, and release calendars to the logistical processes and profitability targets. They will regularly interact with Marchon’s senior leadership. And they will create and deliver compelling presentations for the executive team and work with them to integrate supply chain planning in the overall strategy and initiatives.
The Senior Director Global Supply Chain Planning will have two direct reports responsible for demand planning and supply planning, each with large, high-quality teams. That’s why they will ensure the department can operate efficiently, introduce best practices, stimulate personal development, and boost employee engagement. The team – as well as the Senior Director’s peers – are mainly located throughout the US and EMEA. Which means this role will need to travel up to thirty percent of the time.
