Founded in 2002 as a software company, 2005 marked Sqills’ first entry into the railway and passenger transport market with their partnership with the Dutch national railway operator NS. The transition from a project-driven to a product-driven organisation occurred between 2008 and 2020, while setting a singular focus on passenger transport operations.

Since then, Sqills has effectively become the market leader in Europe, with a dominant presence in countries such as Ireland, France, Spain, the UK and Sweden. Their current goal is to strengthen their European leadership position and simultaneously establish a global footprint.
