Nike

Nike does more – much more – than outfit the world’s best athletes. The mission is to bring inspiration and innovation to every athlete in the world. From Olympic medalist to Sunday jogger – everyone with a body is an athlete. Founded as Blue Ribbon Sports in 1964 and officially named Nike in 1971, the sportswear giant now employs over 30.000 employees. Mark Parker –  who first joined Nike in 1979 – became CEO in 2006 and steered the focus of the business back towards innovation and design. The results: highly successful launches of new product lines such as Free Run and Fly Knit, an increase in annual revenue of 60 percent and the market cap has more than doubled.

Careers at Nike

Working at Nike is a team sport. As co-founder Phil Knight put it: “It’s not a single product model, nor a single manager, nor one ad, nor a single celebrity, not even a single innovation that is key to Nike. It is the people of Nike, and their unique and creative way of working together.” Whether you’re working at one of the country organizations, based at the European Logistics Campus in Belgium or have grown into a role at the headquarters in the US, you’ll experience the same team spirit: it’s about being challenged by working with the best talent, the best athletes, the best business partners in the industry. Challenged to keep dreaming, to keep growing, to keep taking risks. Because there is no finish line.
