At Madurodam, visitors discover what the Netherlands is great at. Hundreds of miniatures, active activities and innovative concepts tell the story of Dutch heroes and highlights from the past and present. Besides tens of thousands of Dutch visitors, at least as many international visitors have been finding their way to The Hague for years. Before corona, Madurodam received 650 thousand visitors each year.
This year, Madurodam celebrates its 70th anniversary. The park was founded in 1952 with the idea of raising money for good causes. Today, this objective is anchored in the Madurodam Children’s Fund Foundation. Corporate social responsibility is deeply woven into the park’s DNA.
Recently, the amended zoning plan was approved, giving Madurodam a large additional area. New innovative, interactive attractions will rise on the extra land in the near future.
