About GreenFlux
GreenFlux was founded in 2011 in Amsterdam with a clear goal: to accelerate the shift to sustainable mobility. From the outset, its founders recognized that electric vehicles would play a critical role in reducing energy consumption and lowering environmental impact. They developed smart energy management technology that initially formed the backbone of their own charging network. It soon became clear that the technology had far broader potential. The company pivoted, shifting its focus to EV charging software built on a cloud-based SaaS model. With that move, GreenFlux established itself as a pioneer in eMobility software.
Mission and milestones
That pioneering spirit continues to define the company today. In recent years, the network has expanded significantly. In 2024, GreenFlux reached profitability for the first time, a trajectory that continued strongly into 2025. A major milestone followed: through roaming agreements, access was provided to more than one million public charging points across Europe. Since its acquisition by DKV Mobility in 2021, GreenFlux has been part of a European mobility group with more than ninety years of experience. This partnership enables the large-scale delivery of integrated charging networks, charging cards, and roaming services across Europe.
Looking ahead
In the years ahead, Greenflux’ focus remains firmly on accelerating the transition to sustainable transport. The strategy centers on scalable software solutions that integrate seamlessly within the wider DKV Group ecosystem, with the aim of making electric mobility more accessible and easier to use throughout Europe. This mission is driven every day by an international team of around one hundred and twenty professionals in Amsterdam, representing more than forty nationalities.
