Equipe Zorgbedrijven

In cooperation with health insurers, referring physicians and suppliers, Equipe Zorgbedrijven is committed to smarter, demonstrably better and friendlier care. They do this under the Xpert Clinics, Xpert Hand Therapy and Velthuis Clinic brands. Since its establishment in 1995, the company has grown into a group with around seven hundred employees at thirty locations. Annually, they perform more than one hundred thousand treatments. The group is the Dutch market leader in hand and wrist surgery and therapy. In addition, Equipe Zorgbedrijven has a strong position in aesthetic care and a growing presence in orthopaedics and ophthalmology.

Strategy 2025
Equipe Zorgbedrijven has experienced strong development in recent years and has grown significantly in size and quality. In 2020, Joris van Eijck (ex-BCG) became CEO of Equipe Zorgbedrijven Nederland, allowing founder Jak Dekker to focus on the internationalisation of the company. In 2021, Nordic Capital came on board as investor. This perfectly positions Equipe Zorgbedrijven for sustainable growth acceleration. Its ambitions are set out in its Strategy 2025. Thereby, the main pillars for sustainable growth are: further development of a number of focus areas or specialisms, international expansion (starting with Germany), digitalisation and innovation to continuously improve the quality of care. Ultimately, both patients and employees will benefit.
