Smarter procurement for PE and investment portfolios
CaPS Procurement Services is a procurement partner and platform that helps private equity and investment companies to structurally reduce the indirect costs of their portfolios. By bundling the purchasing volumes of more than 300 affiliated companies, CaPS negotiates competitive framework agreements in categories such as IT, travel, cars, logistics, HR, marketing, facility services, and office supplies. Members achieve an average cost reduction of around 20%. In addition, CaPS offers its own digital reporting platform that provides insight into spending, savings, and CO₂ impact, plus a corporate benefits portal for employees.
European leader in indirect procurement by 2030
CaPS was founded in 2009 to solve a common problem in PE portfolios. A significant portion of portfolio companies’ spending is in indirect categories where they lack the scale to negotiate with suppliers. As a result, these costs are rarely addressed in initial value creation plans. By aggregating this indirect spend across companies and portfolios, CaPS strengthens the position of members vis-à-vis suppliers and creates attractive additional volumes for selected partners. The platform now delivers more than €35 million in annual savings for members. With further international expansion, CaPS is working towards its ambition of becoming the leading European network for indirect procurement by 2030.
