The Turnaround Purchasing (Senior) Manager will manage all procurement activities at portfolio companies across Europe, leading various portfolio teams, driving efficiency and delivering continuous improvements to create value and increase profitability.

Vacancy: Turnaround Purchasing (Senior) Manager

TheTurnaround Purchasing (Senior) Manager will lead procurement initiatives across Mutares’ portfolio companies, steering them towards greater efficiencies and
profitability. They play a critical role in increasing the value of each portfolio entity and creating sustainable long-term growth.

As a key member of Mutares’ Operations team, the Senior Manager drives continuous improvement. Applying a commercial and entrepreneurial mindset, they identify opportunities to reduce external spend and map and improve internal purchasing processes, generating tangible benefits to the portfolio company’s overall financial situation.

Their main responsibilities include to:

  • Manage all procurement activities and their corresponding strategic and operational development within the portfolio company.
  • Lead the assigned portfolio team technically and disciplinarily according to clearly defined goals.
  • Perform comprehensive price and value analysis to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities, streamlining purchasing processes, and implementing effective improvements.
  • Drive innovations in procurement methods and technologies to maintain industry competitiveness.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators to assess and enhance purchasing efficiency.
  • Coordinate with Mutares’ Purchasing team to drive synergies across the portfolio
