Vacancy: Global Data Science Lead

TVH has a mission to improve their access to strategic data and insights. The Global Data Science Lead will take charge of enhancing TVH’s data science capabilities to develop business strategies and stimulate increased growth.

As the organization’s main point of contact for AI and data, the Global Data Science Lead will set up, oversee, and continuously improve its central data science platform capabilities. This role is an analytics expert embedded in global organizations, with proven expertise in handling large datasets, reporting automation, and data visualization techniques.

The Global Data Science Lead will enable the formation of TVH’s future Center of Excellence. Their innovative data solutions will generate critical business insights used by key decision makers. They will automate, centralize, and standardize data related tools, and drive the optimization of business processes such as measuring price elasticity, supply chain forecasting, strategic workforce planning, and hubs capacity management.

The Global Data Science Lead is goal-oriented and achieves results with clear communication while stimulating effective teamwork within an international working environment. They will report to the Global Director of Data and Analytics and play an important role in developing the data science team as TVH continues to grow their data capacities. They will manage a team of data scientists and work closely with Business, IT and Analytics to identify data science use cases and prioritize tasks based on business needs and value.
