Vacancy: Group Finance Director

Operating at the heart of a complex multinational structure will work in lockstep with the Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to define the organization’s strategic trajectory. This global leadership cornerstone requires the stature to constructively challenge assumptions and the diplomatic influence necessary to align diverse stakeholder perspectives with core long-term objectives.

The scope transcends traditional financial oversight, demanding the agility to navigate a rigorous, matrix-based environment across Europe through effective cross-functional collaboration at the executive level. By fostering integrated business partnering, this function transforms raw data into a trusted advisory service that manages all aspects of the P&L to identify trends and drive value.

Success hinges on building the analytical tools and KPI frameworks necessary to elevate performance standards and optimize supply chain economics. Advanced modeling capabilities are essential; the Director must be able to build, pressure-test, and communicate complex financial simulations that translate data into clear strategic insights. Central to the mission is the stewardship of corporate planning, encompassing the full lifecycle of budgeting, forecasting, and Long-Range Planning (LRP). This involves driving rigorous, data-driven analysis to guide investment decisions and resource allocation, underpinned by a strong command of financial reporting systems and tools.

A particular focus is placed on the disciplined evaluation of Technology roadmaps and the governance of financial policies. By championing standardization and simplification across markets, the Director ensures that financial frameworks remain both compliant and relentlessly focused on the most critical value-creation drivers. Communication is paramount; the role requires executive-level storytelling to ensure clarity for senior stakeholders.

The Director will act as a catalyst for organizational growth, demonstrating a proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing team while mentoring the broader finance community. Through close collaboration with corporate areas, they will ensure a stable, well-governed evolution through a dual focus on capability building and process optimization.

Executive Finance Leadership and Strategic Partnership
