Vacancy:Fund Controller
Rockfield is seeking a detail-oriented and ambitious Fund Controller to strengthen its finance team. In this key role, they will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, ensuring clarity and transparency across all operations. By transforming financial data into actionable insights, the Fund Controller will support strategic decision-making and contribute to improving portfolio performance. With strong expertise in accounting, tax, and financial reporting, they will ensure the quality, accuracy, and efficiency of all processes.
Key responsibilities include leading real estate accounting and tax processes across Europe, ensuring the highest standards of financial reporting under both Local GAAP and IFRS. The Fund Controller will oversee treasury management, liquidity planning, and forecasting to maintain optimal cash flow, ensuring obligations are met while maximizing fund efficiency and portfolio performance. They will also manage complex transaction structuring, refinancing, and portfolio optimization initiatives, integrating fiscal and legal considerations in line with Rockfield’s long-term investment objectives. Additionally, they will monitor fund performance, coordinate capital calls and distributions, and supervise the preparation and review of tax models and financial statements.
Serving as a key liaison between internal stakeholders -including investment and fund management teams- and external partners such as administrators, auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions, the Fund Controller will ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance across all financial operations. Their ability to manage these relationships effectively will be essential to maintaining consistency, quality, and trust throughout the reporting and execution process.
