Uma Catering vacancies

UMA Catering was founded in 2021 by Ilse Lugard and Tobias Overgoor, two entrepreneurs with a shared background in high-end catering, hospitality and concept development. UMA's DNA lies in the combination of uncompromising hospitality, a love of good food and an eye for detail. The proposition is sharp: food & hospitality with the quality and craftsmanship of fine dining, at the scale of corporate contract catering. This translates into four pillars: UMA Horeca, UMA Company Catering, UMA Events and UMA Concept Creation, with sustainability, quality, creativity and design as guiding values.

UMA provides food & hospitality for companies across a wide range of sectors, including Nebius Group, Databricks, A&O Shearman and Aon. With the Van Gogh Museum there is a long-standing partnership: thousands of visitors a day, 365 days a year, a museum restaurant, a Rietveld coffee bar, two staff restaurants and around one hundred and fifty events a year.

To achieve the intended growth, professionalisation is a prerequisite. The recent strengthening of the management team with a new Head of Finance and Head of Operations is an important step. Several new company restaurants will also open this year. In doing so, UMA takes a selective approach: the company is looking for high-end clients and locations, within leisure and leading offices in the Netherlands and possibly abroad in the future.
