Among the various emerging markets, the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region holds strong potential for growth. Context of the role
Performance marketing is a key growth driver for OLX. Through various affiliates people are stimulated to download the OLX app and start using it. Primary channels are Facebook, mobile ads and SEM, on which OLX will expand over time, but only after all 12 markets in the MEA region show outstanding numbers in performance marketing metrics.
Type of work
The Head of Performance Marketing will build and lead a sizable team of specialists who support the various countries from the Dubai office. You manage the media budget and media planning across all markets and provide data insights on the impact of performance media on overall KPIs. Working together on brand awareness, content acquisition and traffic generation, you focus on the strategy, the team focuses on the operational work. Bring your analytical A-game, you’ll be handling budgets, performing analyses to understand trends, provide actionable insights, and track productivity and success of all markets. You keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing. An internal and external leader.
At least 8 years of experience in digital marketing with large portion of that in an ecommerce company, preferably classifieds or marketplace. Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking. Specializing in mobile and social. Must possess a unique blend of brand vision, analytical expertise, excellence with the written word, and the confidence to lead a highly talented, collaborative team. Experience working cross functionally with Strategy, BI and Product Management. Must have experience leading multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns and also aligning with online, offline, TV, CRM.
