Vacancy: Front-end Lead

Vision Healthcare’s Front-end Lead will help develop the platform’s front-end tools and features, and mentor future front-end developers in the Madrid office. They will work closely with the entire European front-end team and be the first technical engineer to join the Madrid tech hub. That’s why an entrepreneurial mindset is their key to success. They will enjoy the space to explore their creative freedom and autonomous decision-making.

The Front-end team develops the tools and features for all current and new brands being onboarded onto the platform, and drive its conversion rate and search engine optimization. Although Vision Healthcare is a multi-tenant e-commerce platform, it’s highly tailored to each brand’s business’s legacy and particular sales process.

This flexibility, along with the platform’s scalability needs for its future growth, translate into a high degree of complexity and finding the best ways to enhance the platform’s tools and features. Experience with e-commerce, preferably high volume, and with React and Next.js is required. The Front-end Lead is expected to be pragmatic, focus on experimentation, learn from mistakes, and invest in being part of the growing team.
