The Amsterdam-based consulting team is made up of about forty people with twenty different nationalities. Local clients include JDE, Unilever, Heineken, Shell and Adidas. The office is responsible for expanding the consulting business across EMEA. The presence of numerous international headquarters makes the Amsterdam consulting team one of Kantar’s key growth units. Their goal is to more than double local consulting revenues in the next couple of years.

Vacancy: Consulting Director

The Consulting Director will be instrumental to expanding the Amsterdam Consulting team. They will be responsible for increasing the client portfolio and leading project delivery, with a key focus on organizational performance – the largest practice in Amsterdam. To accelerate growth, the Consulting Director will leverage existing client relationships and the available data, insights, and expertise in Kantar’s other practices and domains, both locally and internationally.

As their main focus is on the organizational performance practice, the Consulting Director will help organizations define their marketing approach, design operating models, and develop and deliver tailored capability-building programs. Potential projects include developing a marketing and sales growth academy, creating a segmented marketing strategy and streamlining cross-country marketing plan. This scope will require someone with a strong conceptual view on marketing and branding.

The Consulting Director will lead project teams, each with two to five consultants. They will inspire them and provide ample opportunities to grow and develop. As part of Kantar’s leadership team, the Consulting Director will also contribute to an environment that is supportive, inclusive, caring, human and honest. They will embody the company’s unique and people-centered culture, internally and toward clients.

Collaboration is the key to success for this opportunity. The Consulting Director will work closely with colleagues from other practice areas, offices, and domains (Insights, and Analytics and Technology). They will partner with C-suite clients, become a trusted advisor, and inspire through thought leadership. They will harness the power of  Kantar’s collective expertise and client-centric perspective to deliver profitable growth.
