ING’s Global Transformation Expert (GTE) team focuses on global strategic transformation projects. Within GTE, a small group of consultants works on organizational effectiveness. Demonstrating a solid consulting mindset and associated skills, the Senior Organizational Strategy Consultant will help to further grow this team’s performance and reputation.

Last year, the Global Transformation Expert (GTE) team was developed and is made up of consultants, change execution professionals, and process experts.The team has a clearly defined mission: to work with global senior business owners and teams to increase effectiveness, accelerate delivery, and improve strategic decision-making within the bank.
Organizational Effectiveness team
The Organizational Effectiveness team is part of the GTE team, and is led by the Expert Lead, a former Associate Partner of McKinsey. This team works much like a boutique consultancy firm within the bank, which will soon expand with the addition of two Senior Organizational Strategy Consultants.
Together, they establish and improve target operating models, leadership positioning, performance management, measurement methodologies, and communication issues. Some project examples include formulating a clearly defined vision narrative or objectives for a team or department, setting up an effective operating target model, or implementing a new method to measure results and successes. They connect strategy and execution for complex, strategic transformation projects across business lines, domains, and countries.
Vacancy: Senior Organizational Strategy Consultant
The existing Organizational Effectiveness team is made up of seven international experts. The addition of a strategic consultant professional will enable them to become more effective and efficient. There is also room for one senior member to work with the Expert Lead to scale up the team and its impact across the bank.
The Senior Organizational Strategy Consultant must be able to structure and solve problems, synthesize clear takeaways from complex information, build trust with senior stakeholders, and have strong organizational sensitivity. Other essentials include a solutions-oriented mindset, resilience and excellent communication and social skills.
