VanWonen

VanWonen is one of the largest independent area and project developers in the northeastern Netherlands. Managed from its headquarters in Zwolle – located in the Gerrit Rietveld-designed ‘Schrale Beton’ office building – 45 employees dedicate themselves daily to “creating homes and living environments in which everyone feels at home. In three years, VanWonen grew into an authoritative player in the real estate market in the northeastern Netherlands.

The personal and client-oriented approach, the short lines of communication and the fact that decisions can be taken quickly, makes VanWonen an organization that clients – municipalities, investors, corporations and future residents – like to work with. The result is a well-filled, broad portfolio of which they are justifiably proud in Zwolle.

Sustainability and innovation play an important role in the projects developed by VanWonen. For example, the company signed a sustainability manifesto, outlining how VanWonen wants to contribute to a sustainable society. The organization aims to develop as many inclusive residential neighborhoods as possible, which are as carbon-neutral as possible.

Currently, VanWonen sells about 800 homes per year. Given the developments in the market and the entrepreneurial organization that VanWonen is, the ambition is to sell at least 1,000 homes or projects each year. An achievable goal, because VanWonen is busy with new projects and initiatives. In order to realize its ambitions and achieve more coverage nationwide, the company is attracting a new Development Manager.
