Frontrunner in a dynamic market
Vistra Netherlands wants to maintain its frontrunner position in the market. The company is in the middle of a digital transformation. Vacancy: HR Business Partner

The HR Business Partner will be a trusted sparring partner to business leadership, providing advice and support on all HR-related topics, like team development, compensation and benefits, and recruitment. They will contribute to Vistra’s overall change agenda, translate high-level strategy into HR plans and policies, and lead the implementation of strategic HR projects. One of the first topics the HR Business Partner will focus on is strengthening the leadership capabilities across the organization through learning & development, leadership training, and talent management.

“Our HR practices and way of working are solid but do show room for improvement. I expect our new HR Business Partner to come up with fresh ideas that help us get to the next level. An effort in which we are supported by Vistra’s strong worldwide HR community.” – Jorien Kok, Head of HR Netherlands

Backed by Baring Private Equity Asia – one of the largest PE firms in Asia – Vistra has shown remarkable growth over the past few years. The HR Business Partner, together with their colleagues, will optimize the HR practices for the Amsterdam office’s current size and ready the organization for its next growth phase. That asks for an HR Business Partner who understands how to add value to a commercial organization. They will work closely with the business (e.g., financial and legal professionals) and will be a strong partner in all challenges that touch upon HR.

The HR Business Partner will become part of a relatively small team of about four FTE, led by the Head of HR for the Netherlands, to whom they will be reporting. This means the HR Business Partner will get to enjoy the combination of operational, day-to-day responsibilities and big picture, strategic challenges which will involve interaction with senior leadership.

As an experienced HR professional, the HR Business Partner will get the freedom and responsibility to work independently, build close relationships throughout the organization, and work on HR topics in the broadest sense of the word. They will be doing so as part of a dynamic and growing company with a strong people-oriented culture.
