The Senior Strategy Manager will help the CEO make decisions that deal with the big picture for the holding company and come up with solutions for diverse strategic issues in their portfolio companies.

Pon is a holding company with five clusters; automotive, bike, equipment & power systems, industrial mobility, and the newest cluster: Urus. A small team within the holding company is responsible for both the strategic direction at the holding company level and is helping the business clusters and underlying companies with their strategies.
Vacancy: Senior Strategy Manager
The Senior Strategy Manager will support both the CEO at the holding company and the cluster companies with strategic advice.
Pon has an informal entrepreneurial culture with plenty of room for personal initiative. The Senior Strategy Manager will, together with the team, shape Pon’s strategy and carry out strategic projects for companies in their portfolio. For example, the Senior Strategy Manager will advise the CEO about the direction of the holding in the long run and which acquisitions would be of added value. The Senior Strategy Manager will also help direct the strategy of large Pon companies. These are deeply rooted companies and in some cases start-ups and scale-ups across a wide range of areas and countries. That means no two days will be the same and that travel is part of the job.
Recently, the strategy team assessed the strategic fit of Urus, its most recent acquisition. For the bike cluster, the team recently worked on recalibrating the strategy and on identifying future projects. In the United States, they provided a commercial assessment for an acquisition in California focused on sprinkler systems. The Senior Strategy Manager will spend approximately thirty percent of their time on commercial due diligence in partnership with the M&A department.

The role is part of a holding-wide strategy team that also consists of an Analyst and Head of Strategy. The role offers excellent growth opportunities on a relatively short-term basis. Given its broad portfolio of businesses, Pon is the perfect place to grow into a more executive position.
