In this domain, Verra Mobility is a market leader, supporting over 300 leading public and private issuing authorities with cross-border enforcement of traffic fines and fees. Whether it is tracking and collecting parking tickets and fees on behalf of municipalities and parking companies, assisting road toll operators to identify and issue invoices or penalties, or supporting local authorities to control and manage the flow of traffic and price congestion – the enforcement platform allows municipalities and private organizations to easily collect their due, making cities cleaner and roads safer in the process.

Vacancy: Product Manager

The Product Manager directs all tactical aspects of defining detailed product requirements and building the future product roadmap of the enforcement platform. They contribute to the product vision and strategy based on their own data analysis, market research, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. They identify key solution gaps and growth or improvement opportunities and advise on strategies to capitalize on opportunities in the different countries where the platform is rolled out. Taking a strategic overview of the product and the markets as a jumping-off point, they incorporate new product features on an ongoing basis. They work closely with the Commercial and Marketing teams to ensure proper sales enablement. The Product Manager reports to and works together with the Director of Product Management, who has P&L responsibility over the product.

This is a role for a Product Manager, who nonetheless possesses strong business and commercial insight. They have an analytical spike and are able to reason from a UX point of view. The Product Manager quickly learns to understand what drives client decision-making and how to anticipate or respond to the needs of private and governmental clients. The Product Manager cascades product changes internally and externally. They support the coordination of cross-functional teams, with dedicated developers, product owners, and scrum masters.

This is an impactful opportunity for a Product Manager, or commercially minded Product Owner. Or for a candidate with a relevant background in commercial project management and dealing with various stakeholders. The candidate is eager to learn and has the ability to manage project ambiguity, complexity, and interdependencies in an organized and structured way. They are result- and delivery-oriented while balancing the need for collaboration across operations, sales, and software development. They show excellent communication and presentation skills. Working closely alongside the Director of Product Management, the Product Manager gets the opportunity to learn the ropes while directly making an impact on society and the environment. Verra Mobility is currently also hiring a more experienced Product Manager.
