M&A Manager Germany & Netherlands
Requirements*
- Over 6 years of experience in (corporate) M&A or private equity
- Coupled with a background in investment banking, consulting, advisory or corporate finance
- Proven track record of running end-to-end deal processes independently
- Preferably based in or willing to relocate to Düsseldorf area
- Willingness to travel
- Native or fluent German speaker

Vacancy: M&A Manager Germany & Netherlands
Both Germany and the Netherlands offer significant growth opportunities: the market is large, fragmented, and rich with concrete acquisition targets. The M&A Manager takes ownership of the end-to-end process: from sourcing to negotiation, due diligence, and closing, supported by the Head of M&A and external legal and financial advisors.
The target companies are typically owned by entrepreneurs who have built their businesses over decades. Earning their trust and convincing them to join the group takes a specific set of skills. The M&A Manager walks into those conversations with authority and genuine understanding of what a transaction means to a seller, and what their company means to them. In this industry, the ability to make that connection matters at least as much as technical M&A skills.
What sets the right candidate apart is hands-on M&A experience, ideally in a roll-up or buy-and-build context, combined with the drive to work decisively and, at times, independently. Proficiency in Dutch is a merit. Deal flow across both markets is expected to increase further, and as acquisitions are completed, a German organization will take shape.
