Vacancy: Head of Business Insights & Control – Capital Efficiency 

The Head of Business Insights & Control – Capital Efficiency will drive critical financial insights, ensuring that ASML’s capital is utilized efficiently, and enabling strategic investments to propel the company’s growth. Playing an essential role in shaping the company’s financial future, the Head of Business Insights will lead a specialized team focused on comprehensive balance sheet and cash flow management. They also oversee critical financial areas such as capital expenditures, inventory projections, and general working capital analysis, ensuring a strategic approach to ASML’s financial health, beyond the regular profit and loss focus. The team of approximately twenty-five professionals is structured into the four main units: Capital expenditures; Corporate Real Estate Analytics; Inventory; and Working Capital Analysis. They are responsible for intricate financial metrics such as cash conversion cycle, return on invested capital, and cash conversion rates. Additionally, this role coordinates with international teams to ensure a unified approach to ASML’s financial strategies and enhances global capital efficiency.

The Head of Business Insights & Control – Capital Efficiency will report to the Head of BI&C and join a leadership team of five directors overseeing different parts of the BI&C organization. This department handles global financial analysis and business partnering, covering all ASML business lines, sectors, and a consolidated financial view. They will serve as a senior finance leader within the organization, acting as a subject matter expert and contributing to improvement projects aligned with ASML’s Future Finance vision. To succeed, they are curious, analytical and learn quickly. A deep understanding of the intricacies of ASML’s operations is also critical to success in this highly visible leadership position. From day one, they will have direct interaction with ASML’s executive management and regularly be exposed to complex questions from senior leaders who also possess deep industry knowledge.
