About Bright Cape

Once upon a time, the ships of the Dutch East India Company sailed from Cape to Cape, looking for new worlds and (trade) opportunities to explore. Bright Cape follows in the footsteps of those explorers, but instead of the oceans, they search for new opportunities in the world called data science. That’s what Bright Cape does: guide companies successfully through the vast data science landscape, taking them one step further each time with smart solutions.

Cape Bright’s success lies in the perfect synergy of data science and consultancy. The scale-up goes beyond just delivering a PoC, running a pilot or developing smart algorithms – Bright Cape knows how to perfectly integrate the answer to a company’s question into a smart data solution it develops itself, and then makes sure the solutions really land in the organisation.

Innovation and successful spin-offs

Since its founding in 2014, Bright Cape has grown rapidly. The scale-up now counts 70 driven consultants and data scientists who deliver impactful projects for great clients in the Benelux, Germany and England. In recent years, for example, Bright Cape developed several successful innovations, of which ‘SARA’ is perhaps the best known. Sara is a loving care robot that significantly improves the quality of life of both those in need of care and care workers, while making a positive contribution to the ongoing shortage of care workers. A great project that continued as a spin-off, but still under the wings of Bright Cape.

There is no shortage of ambitions at the dynamic scale-up, quite the contrary. In the coming years, Bright Cape wants to grow considerably at home and abroad. By continuously searching for the latest data science solutions and innovations in cooperation with universities, companies and knowledge institutes, Bright Cape ensures that it remains at the forefront and the guide in the data science landscape.
